At Sweet we believe that it's important you take your part in the community seriously. We love what we do and where we do it, we love the people we work with and we love our customers - we think we should share some of the love. The Sweet team have a donation made on their behalf to one of our nominated charities; charities chosen by the team. It's like one big love in.

The Bobby Goldsmith Foundation

The Bobby Goldsmith Foundation is Australia’s oldest HIV charitable organisation and the only one of its kind. Founded in 1984, it provides direct financial and practical assistance, financial counselling, housing and employment support to people directly disadvantaged by HIV in New South Wales.

They help with practical, emotional and much needed financial support so those living with HIV can maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. It’s the kind of ongoing, unconditional support that usually only friends or family would provide.

The Bobby Goldsmith Foundation works proactively to establish links with other HIV support organisations, such as ACON (AIDS Council of New South Wales), Positive Life NSW and the National Association of People Living with HIV/AIDS (NAPWA). We also work with government agencies including South Eastern Sydney Illawarra Area Health Service (SESIAHS) and the AIDS Dementia & HIV Psychiatry Service (ADAHPS) team.

Surf Life Saving Australia

Surf Life Saving is Australia's major water safety, drowning prevention and rescue authority.

The movement is a part of the history, fabric and future of Australia. It represents the lifestyle, values and beliefs of the Australian culture. It protects life, it saves life, it promotes life.

These guys create a safe environment in and around our beaches, through patrols on, in and above the shore and through education and training programs.

The Big Issue

The Big Issue - Helping People Help Themselves

The Big Issue Australia is one of Australia’s leading social enterprises providing creative solutions to the issue of homelessness.

The Big Issue achieve this by using different mechanisms to connect people with the community, such as The Big Issue Street Magazine Enterprise (a fortnightly independent current affairs magazine sold on the street by our authorised vendors), the Community Street Soccer Program (a national initiative using the positive power of sport to change lives), and The Big Issue Classroom (that challenges primary and secondary students to break down stereotypes surrounding homelessness and encourage tolerance and empathy towards all people).

The Big Issue opens its doors to all members of the community who are homeless or marginalised.

Aurora Group - a Ruby Foundation

The Aurora Group is a charity, raising funds to disburse to gay, lesbian and transgender community organisations. Aurora exists so people can donate to a broad range of causes that benefit the community. It is the fund raising organisation people choose when they want their money to benefit the community as a whole and not just one specific cause.

The Aurora Group organises unique events. These events, such as the Annual Dinner to celebrate International Stonewall Day are important fund raisers that also bring fun, glamour and joy to our community.
